Last December I started my sculpture series of Skye terries. It was a work of pure joy. I have really felt felt connected with the breed and the more I did them the more I wanted to do. The fact that I was able to bring a feeling of life and personality to a bunch of clay to represent a dog whose eyes are not always visible was an amazing experience. This is not the first time I create them, but this time I went really full in by exploring different poses and also sketching and painting them!
The result of this project is 13 sculptures (of which only the latest 5 are available) and 10 sketches and paintings.
I am getting to the end of this series so I welcome everyone who may be interested in adopting either a sculpture or painting to get in touch.
Price of sculpture with shipping €200 / $230 – size is about 11 cm tall. Each sculpture is handmade and unique ceramic.
