cMy history with Schnauzers goes back to 1998 when I got my first Giant “Wendy”. Of course, the breed is close to my heart and is probably the one I’ve made most sculptures.
The studies I created over the years reflect my observations of the breed over different periods and different geographies. Since the breed looks different (want it or not) depending on where they are from. Sometimes is the grooming fashion, sometimes is the way they are bred. It doesn’t matter, they are all Schnauzers and sometimes I also allow myself to play and relax and ignore hard rules.
I enjoy creating sculptures of dogs in action and the most unexpected circumstances, basically, capturing the breed’s pure essence.
One of my favorite pieces is the Schnauzer on the fence, originally inspired by one of my own dogs whom I called Monkey and was able to clim 2,5 meters tall fences.
